Monday’s racing across the UK and Ireland will be highlighted by a triple header of jumps action from Southwell, Leopardstown and Wetherby, as well an an all-weather offering at Wolverhampton.
With just over a week to go until the start of the Cheltenham Festival, there is plenty of action for racing fans to whet their appetite, starting with a seven-race card from Southwell on Monday afternoon that gets underway at 13:00 and reaches a conclusion at 16:30.
Betfred’s ‘Super Extra Place’ promotion will be available for the penultimate race from Southwell – the 15:55 Handicap Hurdle – where C’Est Quelqu’un (10/3) and Farmer’s Gamble (10/3) are expected to battle it out for supremacy following their respective recent wins at Fontwell and Wincanton.
Ireland’s sole offering of the day will be an eight-race jumps card from Leopardstown that goes from 13:25-17:20, with Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion coming into play for the races at 15:10, 15:45 and 16:50.

Back on UK soil, and Wetherby will be hosting seven races from 13:45-17:10, with the ‘Extra Place’ promotion again coming into play for the 15:30 Handicap Hurdle from the West Yorkshire track.
The 16:40 Handicap Chase from Wetherby is also worth noting, as Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer will be available for that one. Motown Lake (11/8) is likely to be the one to beat despite receiving a 7lb rise in the ratings since his impressive victory at Uttoxeter last month.
Monday’s action will then be rounded off by a seven-race evening meeting on the all-weather at Wolverhampton from 17:30-20:30, with the opening race on that card benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion.
That offer could be particularly appealing for fans of Abduction (3/1), who is a previous winner over C&D, while he also claimed a victory on his first run for Charlie Wallis’ yard at Lingfield less than a month ago.
