While excitement builds towards the Grand National meeting at Aintree later this week, there are three meetings on Monday, with action coming from Redcar, Windsor and Kelso.
The first meeting of the day comes from Redcar, an eight-race card that runs from 13:00 until 16:53, and there are five races that are covered by Betfred’s extra place promotion – these being the 13:30, 14:05, 15:15, 16:20 and the 16:53.
There is also the smaller matter of the Racing TV Straight Mile Handicap at 14:40, which benefits from being the Super Extra Place Race, and a field of 15 is headed by the Ben Haslam-trained Sweetest Company at 7/2.
Copper Mountain, who has Joanna Mason in the saddle, is expected to provide stiff competition at 9/2, while the likes of 15/2 Clodovea and 10/1 Romantic Thought could be of interest.

Attention then turns to another eight-race card at Windsor, the action running from 13:40 until 17:30, and there are extra places to take advantage of in the opener, the 15:25 and the finale.
Once again there is a Super Extra Race Place, this being the 14:50, and Zim Baby, for trainer Michael Appleby, is fancied at 7/2 to claim the spoils ahead of the likes of 4/1 Inver Park and 11/2 Bernardo O’Reilly.
Last, but by no means least, the final meeting of the day is a seven-race card from Kelso (13:50-17:15) and there are extra places on offer in the 15:00 and the 16:10.
Atlantic Dancer arrives on the back of a victory and is 5/1 to repeat this trick in the 16:10, although stiff competition could come from 7/2 Ritson and 11/2 Paddy The Horse.
