St Helens (9/4 – Challenge Cup outright) and Catalans Dragons (5/1) will meet in a mouth-watering Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-final tie next month after both sides progressed past Betfred Championship sides in the sixth round over the weekend.
Saints outclassed Whitehaven, winning 46-4 on Saturday, while Catalans beat Featherstone Rovers 27-14 to set up the big last-eight clash, which is a repeat of last season’s Super League Grand Final, which Saints won.
Huddersfield Giants (10/1) are also through to the quarters after they eventually saw off second tier Barrow Raiders on Sunday.
The Championship side mounted a spirited second-half fightback as two tries from Tee Ritson and one for Jarrad Stack got them back into the tie after they had trailed 18-6 at the break.
Jack Ashworth went over to ease the Giants’ nerves, before an Ollie Russell penalty and a late Innes Senior try secured a 30-16 victory.

Giants coach Ian Watson was impressed with Barrow, who pushed his side hard at a packed Craven Park.
He said: “I thought they were outstanding, we knew what to expect from Barrow. I told the boys not to come down here and expect to roll them over because it’s a tough place to come.”
Huddersfield will play Hull FC in the next round after the latter saw off Sheffield Eagles 58-12 on Saturday, while Hull KR will host Castleford Tigers in the last eight after the Robins beat Leigh Centurions 24-18 and the Tigers won 40-16 at Leeds Rhinos.
The other quarter-final will be between Wakefield Trinity and Wigan Warriors (3/1 – Challenge Cup outright) after Trinity edged out Warrington Wolves 16-12 on Sunday, impressively coming from 12-0 down to win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
