Arsenal (11/8 – Top 4 Finish) boss Mikel Arteta says he fully expects the battle to finish in the Premier League’s top four to go right down to the final days of the season.
The Gunners find themselves in sixth place in the standings as they look ahead to Thursday’s showdown with seventh-placed Wolves at the Emirates (Arsenal 4/6, Draw 11/4, Wolves 5/1 – Match Betting).
Arsenal are four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United but do have three games in hand over the Red Devils.
With the likes of Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham also battling to join frontrunners Manchester City and Liverpool in the top four, Arteta is expecting the race to go right down to the wire.
“The race will go right to the end,” the Spaniard told reporters on Wednesday. “A lot of clubs are involved. We play at home and the importance of that will be crucial to get to our destination.
“It’s going to be a bit of a rollercoaster. There will be moments when there is a gap and other moments when a team opens a gap and they catch up. You will see the fixtures we have to play and it’s tricky. You will see.”

“For the club this is where we want to play and we want to be playing amongst the best teams in the world. That’s what we want to do,” he added.
Wednesday’s press conference saw Arteta confirm no fresh injuries ahead of their clash with Bruno Lage’s Wolves (16/1 – Top 4 Finish).
Arteta stated how impressed he has been with the job done by the Portuguese tactician in his first campaign in the English top flight.
“He’s done a really good job,” Arteta said. “I think he’s set different standards at that club and the work that he’s done is phenomenal in every sense.”
