Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti says he hopes to see his side perform at their very best as they seek to overturn a 1-0 deficit against PSG (Match betting – Real Madrid 6/4, draw 13/5, PSG 17/10) in the Champions League.
Two of the heavyweights of European football collided last month with PSG narrowly coming out on top at the Parc Des Princes.
They left it late but Kylian Mbappe scored a fine solo goal to give them the advantage heading to the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.
Both sides are searching for a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League (Outright – PSG 7/1, Real Madrid 28/1) with Real Madrid aiming to reclaim the crown they last won in 2018 after defeating Liverpool.
The French side, on the other hand, are looking to win the competition for the first time with success seemingly long overdue in lieu of their huge spending over the past decade.

Ancelotti, who has guided Real to top spot in La Liga – where they look to be in a very good position to win back the title from rivals Atletico Madrid – says Los Blancos were not at their best in the first leg but is confident they will show up this time.
“We were not able to play how we wanted [in the first leg] and what we suffered from the most was the pressure from PSG,” he said.
“We are convinced that the best Real Madrid can compete with the best PSG. We saw the best version of PSG in Paris. I wish to see the best version of Real Madrid on Wednesday.”
In terms of team news, Casemiro misses out due to suspension while Toni Kroos is a doubt with a hamstring problem.
For PSG, Mbappe is included in the squad despite nursing a foot injury though former Real defender Sergio Ramos has been ruled out of the contest.
