There is a bumper Saturday of racing action to enjoy across the United States and Canada, highlighted by a prestigious card from Gulfstream.
A total of 11 meetings are scheduled across the day, beginning at Delaware Park where they will go to post for eight races from 17:30-21:00, with the finale benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion.
The action at Gulfstream starts hot on the heels of Delaware Park, with the Florida track showcasing 11 races from 17:31-22:50, including the Grade Three Smile Sprint Invitational Stakes at 20:45 and the 22:21 Grade Two Princess Ronney Invitational Stakes.
The latter of those races is expected to go the way of Ce Ce (SP) for trainer Michael McCarthy, after she finished third at the highest level on her most recent outing at Oaklawn Park.
Laurel Park’s 10-race offering is scheduled for 17:40-22:30, while there will also be an evening start from Belmont Park, with the action in New York getting underway at 18:01 and concluding at 22:40.
Canadian race fans will be able to take in 11 races from Woodbine between 18:10-23:22, while they go to post at Pleasanton for a nine-race offering from 21:45-01:49.

The 22:19 Claiming from Pleasanton is another where Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion will come into play, with Our Expectation (SP) and Minoso (SP) expected to renew their rivalry in that one.
Los Alamitos Racecourse will also stage nine races between 22:00-02:04, while there will be eight races taking place at Emerald Downs from 22:15-01:53 – the opener there benefiting from the ‘Extra Place’ offer from Betfred.
Canterbury Park’s eight-race card will run from 23:10-02:40, while the penultimate meeting of the day from Evangeline Downs will also take us well into the early hours of Sunday morning, with the eight races taking place there from 23:30-02:40.
The final card of the day comes from Fairmount Park, with the action from Illinois getting underway at 01:30, while the seventh and final race is scheduled for 04:18.
