There are no less than 10 meetings taking place across the US on Friday 4th March, with the action coming from Tampa Bay Downs, Laurel Park, Gulfstream, Aqueduct, Delta Downs, Golden Gate Fields, Penn National, Remington Park, Charles Town and Sam Houston Race Park.
We head to Tampa Bay Downs for the first meet of the day, a nine-race card that runs from 17:13 until 21:21, and there is an extra place being paid out in the 18:43, which is set over 6f 110y.
Tripulante (SP), who has the talented Samy Camacho aboard, is aiming to record a fourth straight victory and should be in the mix come the finish line, while One Lucky Day (SP) and Cyberviking (SP) also boast good form and will be hoping to challenge.
Laurel Park also stages nine races, the action running from 17:25 until 21:27, while the attention then turns to Gulfstream for a bumper 10-race card (18:05-22:44).
The 20:36 at Gulfstream is covered by the extra place promotion and this looks to be a strong seven-runner contest over 7f, with last-time-out winner Candy’s Dream (SP) expected to put in another strong challenge for glory.
