Today’s Horse Racing Odds: Thursday 10th February

There are no less than five meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Thursday 10th February, with action from Doncaster, Ffos Las, Huntingdon, Thurles and Newcastle.

Doncaster’s seven-race jumps cards gets proceedings underway, the action going from 13:00 until 16:20, and there are extra places being paid out in the opener and the 14:10.

James Moffatt’s The Steward was victorious last time out and is priced at 11/2 to repeat this feat, although stiff competition is expected from the likes of Bestiarius (7/2) and Seaborough (5/1).

Attention then turns to the seven-race card at Ffos Las (13:17-16:40) and there are three Betfred promotions on offer across the meeting.

The 13:52 is the Super Extra Place Race, where five places are being paid out at a fifth of the odds, there are extra places to make the most of in the 14:27 and the 15:37, while the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer covers the 16:07.

Up next is a seven-race affair from Huntingdon, which runs from 13:25 until 16:45, and punters can make most of the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion in the 16:15.

Manothepeople has been steadily improving for trainer Fergal O’Brien, recording results of 543 in the last three outings, and could be worth a punt at odds of 5/2 to land this Handicap Hurdle.

The action heads over to Irish shores for the penultimate meeting of the day, a seven-race card from Thurles (13:45-17:00), and there is an extra place being paid out in the 14:20.

Last, but by no means least, Newcastle’s evening all-weather action brings things to a close on a busy Thursday of racing.

There are seven races to get stuck into and the opener is set to go off at 16:25, while the finale is scheduled to take place at 19:30.
