Manothepeople has been steadily improving for trainer Fergal O’Brien, recording results of 543 in the last three outings, and could be worth a punt at odds of 5/2 to land this Handicap Hurdle.
The action heads over to Irish shores for the penultimate meeting of the day, a seven-race card from Thurles (13:45-17:00), and there is an extra place being paid out in the 14:20.
Last, but by no means least, Newcastle’s evening all-weather action brings things to a close on a busy Thursday of racing.
There are seven races to get stuck into and the opener is set to go off at 16:25, while the finale is scheduled to take place at 19:30.
