The inclement weather throughout the UK and Ireland has claimed cards at both Chelmsford and Lingfield. but all being well they’ll still be able to go at Carlisle, Dundalk and Newcastle.
Carlisle’s seven-race jumps card has survived a precautionary inspection and runs from 13:50 to 17:07.
The closer, a Handicap Hurdle, deserves special attention as it carries Betfred’s Extra Place Race promotion and 5/1 You Some Boy’s recent form suggests he will be a contender.
Nathan Moscrop’s gelding has scored on his last three outings, the most recent two coming over close to this 3m1f journey.
That said, don’t discount 6/1 Dequall, who has shown a liking for the mud and should improve for a recent Kelso second.

Irish action comes from the all-weather at Dundalk between 15:15 and 18:45 and their eight-race card features the Extra Pace Race on both the 17:15 and 17:45.
However, Betfred also have their Free Bet if 2nd in play here on the Handicap at 16:45 and 13/2 C&D winner Pandemic Princess is worthy of a look having placed in three of her last four visits here.
Dundalk’s Handicap at 18:15 also provides punters with something different in the form of the Super Extra Place Race, with Betfred paying to five places.
Ellabella is 4/1 in the betting having been risen just 3lb for a win at this track last month, but 7/1 Take My hand always seems to go well but not quite get there – could this be her day.
Finally to Newcastle for six races on the tapeta from 17:00 to 19:30. The 18:30, a Handicap over just north of 6f, features the Free Bet if 2nd promotion and Western Music is sure to arouse interest at 9/2.
The four-year-old showed guts in a battling win at Southwell last time out and the same 6f trip should suit.
