Today’s horse racing features five meetings, with four UK cards across the day, while there is also Irish fare in the evening on the all-weather at Dundalk.
Catterick is the first stop on Friday, with seven races over the jumps scheduled between 13:00 and 16:45.
There are also seven jumps contests at Chepstow, where they go from 13:20 to 16:35. Betfred are offering three of their promotions across the Welsh card, with the Free Bet if 2nd available on the 15:00, and the 15:30 falling under their Extra Place Race banner.
However, they go further for the 16:00, a Handicap Hurdle, which sees them pay out fives places as a Super Extra Place Race.
This looks a really competitive race, but 11/2 Eaton Collina might be the one having finished a close second at Bangor last month, a performance that suggested there is plenty of improvement left in him.

The all-weather action takes over from there, with the sole afternoon meeting in that format coming at Lingfield from 13:40 to 16:24. There are six races in Surrey, two less than in Friday’s Irish offering, which is, of course, from the polytrack at Dundalk.
The card runs from 15:55 to 19:30 and there are three Extra Place offers, with the 17:00 and 17:30 included under that umbrella.
The same can be said for the closer, where Dundalk regular 6/1 Royal Scholar could overcome a 6lb raise following his win here a couple of Fridays ago.
Finally to Newcastle, where they take in seven races over the tapeta between 16:10 and 19:15. The Free Bet if 2nd is in play on this card, with it represented in the Handicap at 17:45.
Similar to the selection at Dundalk, 11/2 Sugar Baby won here on 21st January and seems to have a liking for this same 5f trip.
A 3lb rise shouldn’t prove too troublesome, although recent Southwell one-two Fine Wine (13/2) and Atiyah (7/2) shouldn’t be too far away.
